•Only selected nodes rebroadcast
•Adjust Backoff Time (BT) inside a contention window (CW) within Traffic Class (802.11e) depending on distance from source, speed & vector of motion of source vehicle
•The most suitable nodes have the shortest BT → rebroadcast the data first
•Nodes hearing this rebroadcast terminate their own rebroadcast effort
